2028 S. 12th Street, St. Louis, MO, 63104 / Cake artist: Earl Miller

Clementine’s was St. Louis’ first LGBT bar, opening in 1978. It had a cafe inside called ‘Oh My Darlins’, possibly taken from the ‘Clementine’ song. Once a popular spot especially during Mardi Gras, it had a patio in the back and several dart machines inside. Clementine’s closed its doors on September 29, 2014. The cake was moved to Soulard Art Market on October 8. It fittingly became part of the Cakelovers float during the Beggin’ Pet Parade, and then was then moved to Nadine’s Gin Joint on February 8, 2015, where it hopes to be the permanent location!
