The Grants Trail is a biking and walking trail that is 8.25 miles long, mostly in the southwestern part of the city. It starts at Orlando Gardens (near Union Ave.) and its terminus as at Holmes Ave. and I-44 (in Kirkwood). The trail opened in 1994, and is widely noted for being travel-friendly, with several markers and signs. Notable places that are located off the trail include the Sappington House Museum and Grant’s Farm. To give you an idea of what’s to visit and see on the trail, here’s a link from the trails’ website.

Where is the cake now?   The cake sold in the biddingforgood auction for $455 on 1/1/2015.

Memories:  This was one of the toughest to find for non-locals, as it was placed close to the Tesson Ferry overpass (at the northwest corner of Clydesdale Park).
