2360 Highway D, St. Charles, MO, 63304 / Cake artist: Lindsay Harmon

Located just south of St. Charles, the land was first purchased by the Missouri Department of Conservation in 1947, with help from August Busch’s wife, Alice, from the United States government. The August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area consists of 6,987 acres, and includes 3,000 acres of wildlife (too many to mention!). Many exhibits spotlight the area, and inside the museum there is a 1,300 gallon aquarium. It also has programs that involve nature, and plenty of trails. In addition, several kid-related stuff is offered here. You can also purchase hunting and fishing licenses at the center.
