The Forest Park Forever cake location was at the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center, which is within a walking distance from the Missouri History Museum. While at the center, you can pick up some maps and brochures to help guide you through Forest Park. FPF is an organization that focuses on continuously restoring and preserving Forest Park, so that current and future generations can live to enjoy the beauty and nature of ‘the heart of St. Louis’.
Forest Park is one of the U.S.’s largest urban parks, at 1,293 acres, making it bigger than New York’s Central Park. St. Louis takes pride in the place that is dubbed its ‘oasis’, as well as its environmental, educational and fundamental uses. The park opened in 1876, and it became well-known after being the host of the 1904 World’s Fair (or Louisiana Purchase Expedition). There are many activities to do inside Forest Park territory – ice skating, golf, boating, walking, biking, among many others.
Cake was sold for $805 on 1/1/2015.
