(now called The Dome at America’s Center)

701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO, 63101 / Cake artists: Stacey Sandweg and Gary Lang

The Edward Jones Dome was home to the St. Louis Rams professional football team from 1995 to the 2015-16 season. It was named the Trans World Airlines dome from 1995 to 2001; the Edward Jones Company purchased the naming rights in 2002. The stadium can seat up to 70,000 people. In addition to football, the indoor stadium has hosted several events including monster truck rallies, religious conventions and concerts. The Rolling Stones, N’Sync, U2 and most recently, OneDirection have performed for packed crowds here.

On 3/31/2016, it was renamed The Dome at America’s Center, as Edward Jones terminated its naming rights.

Where is the cake now?:  The whereabouts of this cake are unknown, after it was removed in early 2015.

Memories: The cake was indoors during the year, and for most cake-hunters, it was very hard to come by during the Rams off-season. It was mostly available during certain events in the summer, but according to most cakers ‘If a guard was nice enough to let you in and take a picture, he or she would do it’. The cake was placed close to a window.
