4431 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63108 / Cake artists: Martha Clark and Sara Scott

Also known as the St. Louis Cathedral, it was a built as a replacement to the (now-called) Old Cathedral downtown. Archbishop John Glennon was instrumental with constructing the new building, as ground was broken on May 1, 1907. It was completed in 1914, as the first Mass took place on October 18 of that year. In 1997, Pope John Paul II designated the place as a Basilica. The church holds one of the largest mosaic installations in the Western Hemisphere. It also contains burial crypts.
