6505 Delmar, University City, MO, 63130 / Cake artist: Indy Bowers

Named after the legendary hit song, Blueberry Hill is well-noted for reviving the Delmar Loop section of St. Louis. This pop-culture establishment got its start in 1972, and has been owned and operated by Joe Edwards since. 42 years later it continues to bring several great moments to diners as well as pop-culture enthusiasts. Inside you’ll find several vintage signs, memorabilia from several movies, TV shows, cartoons and such, plus photos of Joe with random celebrities. The jukebox has always been popular at Blueberry Hill, as St. Louisan John Goodman would always play it with his friends in the 1970s. Downstairs is the Duck Room, where Chuck Berry played as well as other musicians.

Blueberry Hill has been given several accolades in Riverfront Times magazines, capturing the #1 spot in several categories: Best Place for a First Date, Best Decor, Best Onion Rings, Best Business Lunch, list goes on and on!
