130 Edgar Road, St. Louis, MO, 63119 (it is actually located in Webster Groves) / Cake artist: Mark Swain

Also known as ‘The Rep’, the Loretto-Hilton Theatre was founded in 1966. It was later renovated and expanded in 2002. More than 100 productions have been shown at the Rep, including Noises Off and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. It takes pride in being one of the first ‘regional theater’ venues outside of New York. For a longer, much-detailed history of The Rep, check out their website (we’re talking 13 pages here)!

Cake placement date: April 25

Where is the cake now?: The cake’s artist, Mark Swain, gave it a better sparkly look and it was back in its original spot in April. The cake was placed temporarily at the front entrance of St. Mary’s High School, which is located on 4701 S. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63111. It is now placed at Urban Eats. (February 2018)

Memories: The cake was originally inside the theatre but it was moved outside sometime during the summer and had stayed there until early 2015.
