Since its inception in 1977 (as the Cervantes Convention Center), the building has hosted several special events, including the Working Woman’s Survival Show and the NRA (National Rifle Association) Convention. Starting in 2013, it has hosted St. Louis’ version of Wizard World’s Comic-Con, where several comic-book/superhero/pop culture fans gather together for a weekend in the Spring. America’s Center features over 502,000 square feet of exhibit space. Breaking it down, it has six halls, 83 meeting rooms, a conference center that can be used for private meetings, and lastly, the Ferrara Theatre, which seats more than 1,400.

Cake placement date: February 25

Where is the cake now?: The cake was displayed inside the lobby throughout 2014. It was removed at years end, and its whereabouts are unknown.  (May 2017)

Notes: This was one of two cakes to have an arch installed at the top, with this one lasting longer than the cake at the Missouri Athletic Club.
